Sailboats on Reeds Lake

Oil on canvas, 10" x 10" ea.  - I thought I would post something different than my usual landscapes.... I am fascinated with the sailboats on Reeds Lake.  Just an exploration of color and design in a square format.

Chrystal River Wetlands - 3

Oil on canvas, 10" x 10" (2013)  This is the 3rd in a series of oils of a bend in the river that I have found particularly interesting.  Will eventually be developed into a larger work. 

Shoreline Path no. 3

Oil on canvas - 8" x 8"      This is the 3rd in a series of paintings of a path along the edge of the shoreline at Hoffmaster State Park that I have found particularly interesting. This path is still visible in my earlier paintings, however the area to the right has been siginificantly carved out by erosion.  This painting is on display at Lake Effect Gallery, Holland, Michigan.
